Movie Mondays #5: Legally Blonde (2001)

I was originally supposed to post this on Monday but with my birthday being on that day, I made a birthday post instead. I decided to post this movie today. Legally Blonde (2001) is one of my favorite chick flick movies. I first saw the movie in my early teen years. I loved it & still do. I own it on video. It is a very girly movie. I'm not just talking about a lot of pink & cheerleading, I'm talking about a movie that shows the empowerment of women. I think it's really a great movie for girls.

Reese Witherspoon plays sorority girl Elle Woods.  After her boyfriend dumps her and goes off to Harvard Law School, Elle wants to go to Harvard and win her man back. It is full of laughs & the ending is really great. Her dog throughout the movie is so adorable. If you are looking for a great movie I recommend this. Sorry I couldn't put the trailer for some reason it couldn't embed the code.
